David J. Scully

David J. Scully has practiced law in Connecticut since his admission to the bar in 1985. He was a partner in the law firm of Kernan & Henry, LLP since 1996. In January 2010, James E. Kernan, David J. Scully, and John K. McDonald formed Kernan, Scully & McDonald, LLP, Trial Attorneys.  On January 1, 2022, James E. Kernan and David J. Scully formed Kernan & Scully, LLP and added Kevin D. Scully as a partner. On January 1, 2025, David J. Scully and Kevin D. Scully formed The Scully Law Firm, LLP.

Mr. Scully's primary focus is on cases involving personal injury and Worker’s Compensation. He has litigated such cases in every Judicial District in Connecticut as well as the Federal and State Appellate Courts. He also has extensive experience and an active practice in Social Security Disability and Discrimination claims covering all districts in the State.

Kevin D. Scully

Kevin D. Scully was admitted to the Connecticut Bar on November 2, 2015. In October 2016, he joined the law firm of Kernan, Scully, & McDonald, LLP.  On January 1, 2022, Kevin D. Scully became a partner with James E. Kernan and David J. Scully at the newly established Kernan & Scully, LLP.  On January 1, 2025, he became a partner at The Scully Law Firm, LLP with David J. Scully.

Mr. Scully’s primary focus is on cases involving personal injury and workers’ compensation. He practices in the Superior Courts and Workers’ Compensation Commission offices throughout the state of Connecticut.
